The Auto Drive In Theatre

The Mighty Auto Theatre is 90 feet wide and 40 feet tall. The Theatre will be celebrating
its 60th birthday this year! Come and join us. If you wish to advertise with us in front of our elaborate playground, contact us.
Advertising will be reasonable and highly visible, maybe a 3x5 placard, or maybe a film
commercial on the Big Screen at Intermission.
The Screen was first lite up in March of 1945. It played until 1955 under the eyes of Olin Turner. Pete Zouras took
over in '56. The summer that Walking Tall was a big hit, the screen tower was replaced. Pete stayed until the mid 1980's.
The last picture he played was King Kong.
The screen was dark until the summer of 1999. It ran for 4 or 5weeks. The Big Screen has been dark since.
Then came Tommy and Carolyn. We use to run the Civic Center Cafe until we lost it to
fire in September 2005. Now, we are at a restaurant named the Five Points Grill. It is
located at 2621 East Cambridge Ext. We have great food. Five Points Grill has the same menu
as the Drive In. Come by and eat with us Wednesday - Saturday,
10:00 to 3:00. Our number at the Five Points Grill is 864-229-3979.
Our number at the Auto Theatre is 864-942-9871
You can e-mail us at Auto@25Drivein.com.
